Cline Family Cellars is a family-owned California winery founded by Fred and Nancy Cline in 1982 and based in Sonoma-Carneros since 1989. Four of the seven Cline siblings oversee daily operations, with winemakers Tom Gendall, Katie Hoggins, and Charlie Tsegeletos. The winery farms seven vineyards across Northern California, including estate and family-owned sites. Certified California Sustainable and Sonoma County Sustainable since 2018, Cline uses dry farming, cover crops, compost and compost teas, sheep and goats for weed control, biodiversity habitats, and solar power offsetting all winery electricity. Its approach emphasizes responsible farming and family continuity.
