Château d’Arsac is a historic Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel estate in Arsac, Bordeaux, with vineyards in Margaux, Haut-Médoc and Bordeaux Blanc on sandy-gravelly soils influenced by the Gironde estuary. Founded nearly 1,000 years ago, the property was revitalized in 1986 by owner Philippe Raoux, who replanted vines and modernized the estate. Winemaking is overseen by Éric Boissenot. Notes describe careful, quality-focused vineyard work, including pruning, leaf removal, green harvesting, grape selection and close monitoring of ripeness; the estate also presents itself as practicing organic and biodynamic viticulture, though certifications are not clearly established in the material provided. Château d’Arsac is especially distinctive for its deep integration of contemporary art, with sculptures and installations woven throughout the property.
