Bonnigal-Bodet is a fourth-generation family estate in Limeray near Amboise in the Loire Valley, run by long-time friends Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet, who took over in 2015–2016 and serve as the winemakers. The domaine is certified organic by Ecocert and works with biodynamic methods, with hand-harvesting, regular hoeing, leaf-thinning, and intensive soil work to encourage deep roots and clear terroir expression. Fruit comes from varied Loire terroirs planted to Chenin Blanc, Côt, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pineau d’Aunis. Wines are made parcel by parcel with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention, with a focus on traditional-method sparkling whites and a 100% Côt red.
