Bodegas Barrero is a family-owned winery in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, within the Marco de Jerez, whose origins date to 1798. The family maintains historic bodegas and traditional criaderas-and-soleras systems, producing Manzanilla, Amontillado, Oloroso, Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximénez wines. Fruit traditionally comes from vineyards in Pago Balbaína Alta, including Viña Las Cañas and La Soledad, where Atlantic humidity and the poniente wind support biological aging under flor. Its historic soleras include Manzanilla Gabriela and Gabriela Oro, as well as VORS wines. The winery combines long-established methods with traceability, continuous improvement and commitments to environmental protection and responsible water use.
