Prieuré Saint‑Christophe

France

Prieuré Saint-Christophe is a small, artisanal estate in Savoie, founded by Michel Grisard and farmed biodynamically and organically since 1994. Since 2015 it has been owned by the Giachino family, with Clémont Giachino overseeing the domaine as the Giachino brothers carry forward Grisard’s philosophy in both vineyard and cellar. The estate remains focused on modest-scale production and natural farming. Its Mondeuse plantings grow on alluvial and silty soils from an ancient glacial moraine, mixed with clay-limestone scree, shaping a distinctly local Savoie identity.
