Founded by Domingo Pérez Marín in 1852, La Guita is a historic Jerez producer now owned by Grupo Estevez, also owner of Valdespino. Its manzanilla is made exclusively from grapes sourced in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, principally the Pago de Miraflores vineyard, whose Albariza Superior soils are regarded as the highest quality in the Sherry DO. Production takes place in the historic Bodega Misericordia and Bodega Pago Sanlúcar Viejo, with bottling six times a year to preserve freshness. Cellar master Beatriz Caballero and enologist Victoria Frutos lead the winemaking team. No specific sustainability practices or certifications are noted.
