Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) is a sixth-generation family-owned Bordeaux producer with a global presence, spanning estates in France, Argentina, Chile, and China. Led by the Rothschild family, with Eric Kohler as technical director at Château Lafite Rothschild, the group combines historic ownership with a strong sustainability focus. It achieved B Corp certification in December 2023, has been in organic transition since 2017, expects all French vineyards to be organic by 2024, and also farms a portion biodynamically. Recent expansion into Chablis through the acquisition of Domaine William Fèvre adds to its French portfolio.
