Domaine Truchetet

France

Domaine Truchetet is a sixth-generation family estate in Prémeaux-Prissey, Burgundy, run by Morgan, Julie and Pauline Truchetet since 2019. Working vineyards around the Côte de Nuits and expanding into Saint-Romain and Auxey-Duresses, the family emphasizes vine health and soil expression through organic or organic-principles farming, green cover crops, plant-based treatments, massale selection and marquettage. Vineyard work is largely manual, with careful sorting and, in some parcels, horse ploughing. Morgan leads the winemaking, favoring precise, low-intervention methods, indigenous yeasts, gentle fermentation and predominantly destemmed fruit, with limited whole-berry use and some sulfur-free cuvées. The wines express the varied limestone, clay and chalky soils of the region, with whites noted for precision and terroir expression and reds for structure and intensity.
