Domaine Sophie Cinier is a family-run estate at the entrance to Fuissé in Burgundy’s Pouilly-Fuissé area, founded and led by Sophie Cinier, with partner Alain involved in the operations. Sophie inherited much of the domaine’s vineyard heritage from her grandfather and mother. The vines, primarily Chardonnay, are worked by hand using organic farming practices without formal certification, while the winemaking follows a low-intervention philosophy that respects each vintage and allows the terroir to express itself. Pouilly-Fuissé and other communal wines are aged in oak barrels, while regional cuvées are raised in tanks, generally for at least nine months. The domaine is passionate about producing expressive white Burgundy wines and welcomes visitors for cellar tours and tastings.
