Domaine René Cacheux & Fils is a family-run estate in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy, with four generations of winemaking history and Gérald Cacheux at its helm since 2004. Its HVE-certified vineyard management emphasizes respect for the environment, with manual pruning and harvesting, grass cover, natural aeration, and alternatives to chemical treatments. Grapes are immediately sorted, traditionally vinified with temperature control, and aged for 18 months in oak, with the proportion of new wood adjusted to the appellation and vintage. The domaine produces wines intended to express their individual terroirs, including Grands Crus, and has been recognized for their finesse, character, consistency, and authenticity.
