Domaine Pinson is a family-owned Chablis estate, with the Pinson family rooted in the region since 1580. Laurent, Charlène and Christophe Pinson manage the vineyards and make the wines, continuing a tradition that combines respect for terroir with modern techniques. Vineyard work follows a reasoned, environmentally respectful approach, avoiding herbicides and pesticides, encouraging soil life and root development; harvesting is exclusively by hand. The domaine holds Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3 certification, awarded in 2019. Its Chardonnay wines come from Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites, including Les Clos. In the cellar, fermentations are natural, interventions are limited, and wines are aged in stainless steel or oak according to appellation, allowing the character of the terroir and vintage to emerge clearly.
