Domaine de Chevalier

France

Domaine de Chevalier is a Grand Cru Classé de Graves estate in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, with a history dating back to at least 1783. Since 1983, it has been owned and managed by the Bernard family, with Olivier Bernard at the helm. The estate farms approximately 65 hectares of vineyards (58 ha red, 7 ha white) at a high density of 10,000 vines per hectare. It is fully committed to organic and biodynamic practices, achieving 100% biodynamic certification for its white wines in 2022 and reds in 2024. Production is highly selective, focusing on a flagship Grand Vin of about 90,000 bottles annually, complemented by second and third wines. The philosophy emphasizes expressing terroir with finesse and balance.
