Domaine d'Aussières

France

Domaine d’Aussières is a Corbières estate in the foothills of Fontfroide, owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1999. Its vineyards lie on stony, sandy soils within a wider landscape of garrigue, olive groves, almond trees, beehives and wooded hills. Farming is described as environmentally friendly and dialogue-driven, with organically farmed vineyards noted in the estate’s wider holdings. The estate focuses on low-yield, high-altitude plots, aiming to work closely with nature. Winemaking is currently overseen by Olivier Richaud, with earlier vintages credited to Aymeric Izard and Eric Kohler.
