Cristom Vineyards is a second-generation, family-owned estate founded in 1992 by Paul and Eileen Gerrie in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills. With a 240-acre property and about 90 acres under vine, the winery produces roughly 18,000 cases annually. It is deeply committed to sustainable, holistic farming, holding LIVE certification since 2007 and integrating organic, biodynamic, agro-ecology, and permaculture practices with a 100-year vision. Winemaking follows a low-intervention, neo-classical philosophy centered on whole-cluster fermentation, native yeasts, and minimal handling to express individual vineyard sites. The estate’s five vineyards—named for family members—are farmed to highlight volcanic terroir and cooling marine winds, yielding acclaimed, site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
