Clos des Orfeuilles is based in Le Pallet, near Nantes, in France’s Loire Valley. Its 18.5 hectares of vineyards are planted on gneiss, orthogneiss, quartz, and amphibolite soils. The estate has been certified organic under France’s AB standard for both its vines and winery since the 2012 vintage. Cultivation, winemaking, and aging are carried out plot by plot across four distinct vineyard parcels, emphasizing the character of each individual terroir.
