Château Haut-Brion

France

Château Haut-Brion is a historic First Growth estate in Bordeaux's Pessac-Léognan, with viticulture dating to the 1st century. Owned by the Dillon family since 1935 and now led by Prince Robert of Luxembourg, it is managed by multi-generational families. The estate holds dual sustainability certifications (HEV and ISO 14001), focusing on biodiversity and soil health. Its legendary gravelly terroir yields both red and white wines, crafted with a philosophy blending centuries-old traditions like precise blending and gentle racking with modern innovation. The property also houses an extensive library of gastronomic and viticultural archives.
