Château Haut-Bergeron is a family-owned Sauternes estate run by the Lamothe family for nine generations, under the leadership of Patrick Lamothe. Its integrated, sustainable vineyard management emphasizes respect for the environment, the relationship between people and vines, and the expression of its terroir. Grapes are meticulously harvested by hand in multiple passes to select berries affected by noble rot, then table-sorted, gently pressed, and slowly fermented in cool tanks. The estate is particularly known for exceptional vintages, especially years ending in 9, and has received 118 medals, including 68 gold, since 1964.
