Château Fargueirol

France

Château Fargueirol is a long-established family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, owned and run by the Révoltier family since 1340, with Pierre Révoltier alongside the next generation, Roman. The domaine emphasizes respect for terroir, ancestral know-how, and wines that reflect the history of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Farming is described as sustainable, with attention to biodiversity and a range of local soils including rolled pebbles, limestone, sand, safre, and red sandstone. In the cellar, each grape variety is fermented separately in concrete and cement vessels, with élevage in large oak barrels, partial destemming, and careful manual sorting, resulting in a traditional, terroir-focused style.
