Château d'Arcins

France

Château d’Arcins is a historic Haut-Médoc property with vineyards traceable to 1300, owned by the Castel family since 1971 and currently headed by Christiane Castel. Its single vineyard block spans two complementary terroirs and is planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot. The estate has held Terra Vitis certification since 2018 and uses Oenoview satellite monitoring. Winemaking takes place in a pioneering circular winery built in 1981, with temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats and extensive French oak ageing. Estate manager Lucas Puyo works with consulting oenologist Antoine Medeville.
