Cantina Tramin is a historic cooperative in Alto Adige, founded in 1898 and run by about 160–190 member families. They tend roughly 270 ha of vineyards, producing around 1.9 million bottles annually. Sustainability is a core pillar: 15–37 ha are farmed organically and biodynamically, over 90% of vineyards are herbicide-free, and solar panels cover 85% of energy needs. The modern winery, designed by Werner Tscholl, uses eco-friendly materials. Chief winemaker Willi Stürz (since the early 1990s) leads production. The cooperative focuses on quality, collaboration, and expressing the unique terroir of Termeno, the historic cradle of Gewürztraminer.
