Cantina Maroni is a family-run producer in the hills of Offida, Marche, with four generations involved in the estate. Founded in 1968, it farms organically, avoiding chemical fertilizers and minimizing treatments in favor of natural products and respect for the environment. Vineyards are tended without forcing, with green pruning and deliberately limited yields; grapes are harvested by hand in several passes to achieve optimal ripeness. Vinification takes place in the estate cellar using separate stainless-steel and concrete vats for grapes from different parcels, following a traditional approach while emphasizing careful selection, fermentation, and ageing. Production is intentionally limited, with attention maintained from harvest through bottling, and the wines reflect the local tradition and the viticultural character of the Offida hills.
