Brancott Estate is a flagship Marlborough producer that pioneered commercial viticulture in the region in 1973 under its original Montana Wines name. Based in New Zealand, it has been part of Pernod Ricard and is set to join the new Vinarchy group following a 2024 sale announced for completion in 2025. Sustainability is central to the estate’s approach: it was a founding member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, has adopted steel vineyard posts, recyclable and reusable packaging, alternative uses for grape marc, and produces the organic, BioGro-certified Living Land range. Under Group Winemaker Jamie Marfell, Brancott Estate focuses on Marlborough staples including Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, alongside collections such as Reserve, Letter Series, Flight, and Sparkling wines.
