Statti is a family-owned estate in the Piana di Lamezia Terme, Calabria, managed by brothers Alberto and Antonio Statti, whose family has lived on the property since the 1700s. Its vineyards are organically certified and farmed for deliberately low yields, with spring green pruning, cattle-manure fertilisation and largely mechanised cultivation. The integrated estate also includes ancient olive groves, citrus orchards and a dairy farm, reflecting a holistic agricultural approach. Biogas and renewable energy support greater self-sufficiency. The wines, made by winemaker Nicola Colombo, focus on rediscovering and expressing Calabria’s diverse native grape varieties alongside international varieties.
