Australia

Scotts Creek is part of Byrne Vineyards, a privately held, family-owned South Australian business founded in 1963 and operated across three generations. The Scotts Creek vineyard was established in the 1970s on limestone soils in a climate considered well suited to premium wine production. Fruit is estate-grown, with sustainable practices supported by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certification and recognition for water-use management. Winemaking is led by Peter Gajewski and Master of Wine Phil Reedman, with Terry Byrne overseeing the vineyards. The broader Byrne operation farms sites across South Australia, including the Clare Valley, Riverland, Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills.
