Soplo

Rafael Cambra is a family-owned Spanish producer based in Valencia, with a first Rioja label named after his son Mateo. Alongside the bodega, Rafael Cambra runs a vine-stock nursery and works with small-lot vineyards planted to 60-year-old vines. The vineyards are dry-farmed and cultivated organically, while the wines are certified organic despite the vineyard itself lacking formal certification. Founder-led winemaking combines hand-picked grapes and indigenous yeasts with maturation in 500-litre French oak casks and used barrels.
