Pierre Van Oost

France

Founded by Pierre Van Oost in 2021 when he was 20, this young, single-handed Beaujolais domaine is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by its namesake. Working across approximately 5.5–6.5 hectares of Gamay and Chardonnay on clay-limestone soils, Van Oost performs the vineyard and cellar work himself. The estate is converting to organic farming and uses biodynamic practices, without formal certification. Producing around 3,500 bottles annually, the domaine makes wines from several Beaujolais AOCs, including a lively, precise 100% Chardonnay Saint-Véran “En Faux.”
