Moritz Kissinger-Bähr is a fourth-generation family estate in Uelversheim, Rheinhessen, run by husband-and-wife winemakers Moritz Kissinger and Jasmin Bähr. They farm organically, with several wines carrying biodynamic certification, and work limestone-rich sites in the region’s cool climate. The estate’s small-scale approach centres on micro-vinified Rieslings from premium vineyards, including the Roter Hang, while other wines come from inner Rheinhessen. Limited barrel capacity and the release of only a few bottles from some single-site wines underline the artisanal character of the operation.
