Louis de Grenelle is a family-owned sparkling wine house in Saumur, Loire Valley, owned by Françoise Flao and her brother Antoine Bodet. Its vineyards include vines aged 20 to 60 years, with several parcels certified organic under the AB label and sustainable viticulture practiced throughout. Winemaker Guillaume Poitevin oversees production in the estate’s limestone caves, where the wines age. The range focuses on Saumur and Crémant sparkling wines made from Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc, including rosé. Alongside its own grapes, the house works with carefully selected fruit from neighbouring growers.
