Producer

Leeuwin Estate

Australia

Leeuwin Estate is a family-owned producer in Margaret River, Western Australia, founded in 1973 by Denis and Trish Horgan and now run by later generations of the Horgan family, including joint CEOs Justin Horgan and Simone Horgan-Furlong. The estate emphasizes sustainable viticulture, without cited formal certification, and a winemaking approach focused on preserving pristine fruit character through careful vineyard management, vinification, and maturation. Led by Senior Winemaker Tim Lovett and Winemaker Phil Hutchison, Leeuwin is especially noted for Chardonnay, widely regarded among the region’s and Australia’s finest, while also producing Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and other varieties.
