Henri de Villamont is a Burgundy estate based in Savigny-lès-Beaune and owned by the Swiss Schenk family since 1964. Originally rooted in a late-19th-century property created by Léonce Bocquet, the house was refocused after 2004 from very high-volume production toward a smaller Burgundy specialist. It farms estate vineyards around Savigny-lès-Beaune, including monopole and premier cru sites, and also works with selected growers across Burgundy. The domaine is certified organic and follows integrated, reasoned viticulture, with all grapes hand-harvested. In the cellar, winemaking and élevage are tailored to each terroir, with maturation in French oak barrels in historic vaulted cellars. The wines are described as powerful, deep, elegant, and respectful of Burgundy’s climats.
