Weingut Heinrich is a family-owned estate in Burgenland, run by husband-and-wife team Gernot and Heike Heinrich. Founded by the couple, the winery is led by Gernot as winemaker, with Heike closely involved in winemaking and management. The estate has been Demeter-certified biodynamic since 2006, follows Rudolf Steiner’s principles, and is also listed as organic. Working across varied soils including limestone, schist, red gravel, loam, and cambisol, Heinrich focuses on Austria’s autochthonous red grapes, particularly Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, and Sankt Laurent.
