France
France Gonzalvez is a Beaujolais and Savoie producer making Alpine Gamay and Beaujolais reds from hand-harvested fruit. The vineyards are farmed organically, with some parcels in conversion, alongside biodynamic and dry-farming practices. Winemaking is led by France Gonzalvez, who trained with Beaujolais artisans Xavier Bénier and Jean-Claude Lapalu before returning to Savoie in 2020. The wines are made in a natural style with indigenous yeasts, carbonic maceration and whole-bunch fermentation in concrete, minimal oak, very low sulphur, and unfined, unfiltered bottling. Ownership details are not disclosed.
