Finca La Despeinada is a small-scale natural wine estate in Bot, Tarragona, owned and run by Alex and Petra since 2016. Working with vines aged 20–80 years, they farm by hand according to a permaculture-inspired philosophy focused on soil regeneration, with virtually no chemicals, no fertilizers, and minimal tractor use. Their gravity-fed winery reflects the same low-intervention approach: native-yeast fermentation, no added sulfites, temperature control, clarification, filtration, or artificial aromas. Alex is the primary winemaker, with Petra as co-winemaker; both were mentored by Laureano Serres.
