Domaine J. Chamonard

France

Domaine J. Chamonard is a small, family-run estate in Beaujolais, with vineyards mainly in the Morgon cru and a parcel in Fleurie. Founded by Joseph Chamonard, it is now operated and made by the Chanudet family, Jean-Claude “Le Chat” Chanudet and his daughter Jeanne. The domaine has followed chemical-free, natural wine practices since the 1960s and is certified organic, combining organic and biodynamic viticulture. Production is modest, with the entire harvest bottled on site, reflecting a hands-on, multi-generational approach to the vineyards and wines.
