Domaine du Petit Pérou

France

Domaine du Petit Pérou is a fifth-generation family estate in Villié-Morgon, Beaujolais, founded in 1886. Currently run by Laurent and Hugo Thévenet, the domaine focuses on sustainable viticulture, holding HVE (High Environmental Value) certification since 2018. Vineyards are hand-pruned and ploughed, with white wines certified organic and reds following integrated farming. The estate produces primarily Gamay-based wines from Morgon and Brouilly, alongside Chardonnay and Syrah, with a pioneering role in planting Syrah in Beaujolais. The family's philosophy centers on environmental respect, biodiversity, and limiting inputs.
