Ciclo Vinho is a small, founder-owned independent producer in southern Alentejo near Estremoz, run by winemaker Hugo Campos. Rather than owning vineyards, Campos sources organic grapes from local smallholders and wild native vines. His limited-production wines are made with spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass, steel, old oak and clay amphorae, with minimal cellar intervention, natural unfiltered bottling and minimal sulfites. Sustainability is central, from water protection and biodiversity preservation to community collaboration, lightweight bottles, recycled-paper labels and biodegradable wax-sealed corks.
