Château de Garnerot is a young, family-run estate in Mercurey, Burgundy, created in 2018 by Caroline Fyot and Alexia Russo. The estate farms vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune, producing appellations including Mercurey, Rully, Bouzeron, Pommard and Beaune Premier Cru. Its vineyards are certified organic since 2022, with biodynamic practices on selected plots, and are worked without pesticides or herbicides. Soil care includes tailored amendments and Maria Thun preparations. Handpicked grapes are vinified naturally, with indigenous yeasts and parcel-specific cuvées; whites undergo cold settling and reds cold maceration. Wines mature in oak for 10 to 18 months, including a proportion of new barrels. The estate is housed in an 18th-century château and also operates the small Chai Garnerot wine merchant activity.
