Bouvet Ladubay is a family-owned house in Saint-Hilaire Saint-Florent, in the heart of the Saumur AOC, founded in 1851 and run by the Monmousseau family since 1932. It is known for Brut de Loire and traditional-method sparkling wines, with historic tuffeau cellars including its notable underground galleries and “Underground Cathedral.” Alongside its long sparkling-wine heritage, the estate has a strong cultural identity through its Contemporary Art Center, theatre and Hippomobile Collection. Sustainability is a clear focus, with organic certification and documented practices around water, waste, energy, local sourcing and employee training.
