Black Stallion Estate Winery is a family-owned Napa Valley producer in California’s Oak Knoll District, owned by the Indelicato family since 2010 as the flagship estate of Delicato Family Wines. Set on the historic former Silverado Horseman’s Center along the Silverado Trail, the winery draws on Napa fruit from diverse vineyard sites, with occasional single-vineyard bottlings. Under Director of Winemaking Ralf Holdenried, grapes are hand-picked and often night-harvested, fermented in small lots, blended carefully, and bottled with minimal filtration. The focus is on limited-production wines that express Napa Valley’s varied terroirs, especially Cabernet from key valley sites. The winery also notes its commitment to fair labor practices under the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.
