Weingut Rudolf Fürst is a long-established family estate in Bürgstadt, Franken, with documented winegrowing history back to 1638. Run by Paul, Monika and Sebastian Fürst, it is best known for Spätburgunder, with key vineyards including Centgrafenberg, Hundsrück and Klingenberger Schlossberg on distinctive red sandstone soils. The estate is noted for meticulous vineyard work, selective harvesting and a Burgundian approach in the cellar, including whole-cluster fermentation, élevage in Burgundian barrels and unfiltered bottling. Farming emphasizes sustainability through estate-made compost and reduced chemical inputs, using copper and sulphur treatments. Alongside Spätburgunder, Fürst also works with Frühburgunder, Riesling, Chardonnay and Weissburgunder, producing refined, fresh and ageworthy wines.
