Stella Crinita is a family-run biodynamic estate in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, owned and operated by Joanna Foster and Ernesto Catena. Demeter-certified since 2012, the estate uses drip irrigation and VSP trellising, while its natural-wine approach emphasizes native-yeast fermentations, minimal additives and low sulfite levels, with no filtration or fining. Winemaking is led by Alejandro Kuschnaroff and Joanna Foster. The wines reflect a hands-off, artisanal philosophy and are made in very limited quantities, including a Barbera 2021 released in just 500 cases.
