Bodegas O Ventosela is based in Leiro, Galicia, in the Ribeiro appellation. Founded by Juan Míguez Montero, who began making and commercialising his own wine in 1980, the producer also distils aguardientes and liqueurs from grape marc, including the Alitia collection. Its approach combines modern technology with traditional winemaking knowledge and respect for nature. Grapes are selected on a vibrating table, with fermentation, maceration and careful wine handling focused on preserving aromatic expression and balance between sugar and acidity. O Ventosela produces Ribeiro, Albariño and Godello wines, including fresh, aromatic whites and characterful reds that express Galicia’s Atlantic identity. The winery also offers tastings paired with Galician specialities and tastings of its liqueurs.
