Montecalvo

Italy

Montecalvi is an independent, family-owned boutique estate in Greve in Chianti, Tuscany, operated by the Drake family since the 1980s alongside Australian winemaker Jim Drake and an English oenologist. Its vineyards are ICEA-certified organic and farmed with a “close to nature” philosophy. Winemaking is minimal-intervention, with no filtration and natural corks, while limited small-batch bottling reflects the estate’s old vines and artisanal approach.
