Monte Zovo

Italy

Monte Zovo is a fourth-generation, family-run estate in Veneto, founded by Carlo Cottini in 1925 and now managed by Diego Cottini, his wife Annalberta and their sons. Working across Valpolicella, Garda, Lugana and Lessini, the winery focuses on expressing the character of each vineyard, from morainic gravel and limestone to volcanic and white clay soils. Its vineyards are farmed organically and certified under the Biodiversity Friend standard, with a One Health approach to protecting land, people and biodiversity. The estate combines traditional appassimento, including naturally ventilated drying rooms in Valpolicella, with careful, terroir-led winemaking. Hospitality includes tours, tastings, seasonal food experiences and accommodation projects.
