Masciarelli Tenute Agricole, founded in 1981 by Gianni Masciarelli, is the largest private vineyard holder in Abruzzo, with about 300 hectares across over 60 plots spanning all four provinces. It is a family-run business, now led by Gianni’s wife Marina Cvetić and daughter Miriam Lee Masciarelli. Annual production reaches roughly 2–2.5 million bottles from seven product lines. The estate emphasizes sustainability through ISO 14001 and EMAS certifications, a transition to organic viticulture, and programs to reduce water, energy, and waste. Winemaking has been guided by founder Gianni Masciarelli and oenologist Carlo Ferrini.
