Legado del Moncayo is a small-scale Aragón project run collaboratively by winemaker Isaac Fernández and Aurelio Cabestrero under Isaac Fernández Selección. Centered on the La Balsa single vineyard, planted in 1998, it produces limited quantities of old-vine Garnacha from vineyards at 560–600 metres on gravelly, chalky loam with volcanic gravel. Traditional farming and hand harvesting are used, with whole-cluster pressing. Fernández oversees fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel and maturation in used French oak barrels. No sustainability certifications are noted.
