Josko Gravner is a family-owned, multigenerational estate in Oslavia, in the Collio hills of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with terraced vineyards extending across Italy and Slovenia. The estate farms Ribolla Gialla and Pignolo according to organic and biodynamic principles, including lunar cycles, natural preparations and wild yeasts, with minimal sulphite use; it holds no formal certification. Josko leads the winemaking, while his daughter Mateja handles communications and his grandson Gregor is training in the vineyards. The winery is known for orange wines aged in clay qvevri, wood barrels and glass tanks.
