Family-owned Winzerhof Familie Dockner is based in Höbenbach in Austria’s southern Krems Valley, around the Göttweiger Berg. The estate cultivates vineyards planted mainly to Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, alongside Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Farming follows Sustainable Agriculture principles as listed by Falstaff. Sepp Dockner oversees the vineyards and marketing, while Josef Dockner Jr. serves as cellar master and winemaker. Wines are produced in the modern JOE cellar, including traditional-method sparkling wines from the Frauengrund site. The estate also operates a wine tavern run by Gudrun Dockner.
