Joaquín Rebolledo is a four-generation family winery in A Rúa, Valdeorras, founded in 1978 and deeply rooted in Galicia. The estate controls vineyards in several local sites, with Godello and Mencía vines averaging around 35 years old, planted on slate and clay soils at approximately 700 metres. The family was a pioneer in recovering Godello in the region 40–50 years ago. Viticulture is described as traditional and sustainable, with soil work, no herbicides, and manual harvesting in small boxes. Winemaking combines tradition with modern technology, including a natural 18th-century mountain cave used for ageing and tastings. Catalina Maroto leads the winemaking, assisted by Álvaro Bueno, producing distinctive wines focused on the character of Valdeorras.
