Graham's

Portugal

Founded in 1820 by brothers William and John Graham, Graham’s is a historic Douro Port house that has been independently family-owned by the Symingtons since 1970. Its wines come from a group of key Douro quintas including Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta da Vila Velha and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas. Graham’s combines tradition with innovation: grapes are hand-sorted and gently destemmed, then fermented in modern lagares designed to mimic foot treading at the boutique winery at Malvedos. Ageing takes place at the 1890 Graham’s Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, where blending is led by Charles Symington and guided by experience and instinct. The estate also follows certified organic, natural-cycle farming and is expanding organic conversion across its vineyards.
